Fun video this one! Picking up our family Christmas Tree using the MGB GT and a nifty roof rack. Jaguar XK8 – What’s Next?
Quick update on the Jaguar XK8 and future plans. I’m really on the fence about doing any modification to the Jag, I love this car just how it is at the moment and I’d hate to ruin it…. that being said, the idea of a lower, sleeker, cleaner car does appeal but worth the risk? Anyone regretted modifying their XK8?

Lockdown Exercise with the Jaguar XK8
Slightly different video this time as I try to combine a bit of lockdown-sanctioned exercise with getting the Jaguar XK8 out for a run. The day was crazy weather-wise with rain and sun on and off all day and the car was a state when I got home but good fun and hopefully entertaining even though the Jag content is a bit light! Can’t wait for this lockdown to end so I can get out in the car properly for some more Morning Missions and longer tours, thanks for watching!

A short video of my MGB GT in the rain, I was desperate to try out some new video equipment so I got in my MG and headed out into some pretty atrocious weather! I’m sure I’ll get some flak for such carefree use of a classic in the wet but cars were meant to be driven and if I end up with a bit of rust then so be it, it would have been worth it for the fun! Jaguar XK8 – GT-in-a-day: North York Moors
To celebrate 2000 subscribers I take my Jaguar XK8 on a GT-in-a-day to the North York Moors! It was a long but fantastic day exploring some of ‘God’s own country’ and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the scenery, people and wildlife that give Yorkshire its great renown. Special thanks to my friend Barrow who had to suffer my company for more than is usually tolerable and some great camerawork there that I wouldn’t have been able to achieve on my own! Thanks to everyone who watches, likes and subscribes, I love my hobby and I feel privileged to be able to share it with so many supportive and like-minded people!

MGB GT – Why Did I Buy One?!
I’ve owned my MGB GT for over 7 years now and several other ‘B GTs before it so I describe some of the main reasons why I like the MGB so much. It’s a great little classic sports car with plenty of charm and period features plus it won’t cost the earth to buy and maintain! Sure it won’t have the performance or reliability of a more modern car (MX5/miata are a similar proposition but a better choice for performance and reliability) but the ‘B is special in its own quirky way and is a great hobby car!

Jaguar XK8 – Exploring the South Downs
Another trip out in the Jaguar XK8 this time driving over the South Downs and surrounding countryside. The weather could have been a bit (a lot) better but still worth the trip out to see some of the great scenery in this part of Britain. As mentioned in the video, I’ve now crossed the 2000 subscriber threshold which I’m so grateful for and I really enjoy sharing my hobby with you all, thanks so much for you support and comments and hopefully lots more videos to come!

London by Night in an MGB GT
Navigating London by night in my MGB GT! I saw a great photo on my Instagram feed the other day so I drove my MGB up to London to recreate it, whilst I was there I took an extended drive around some of the sights, starting in the City driving across town to Piccadilly Circus, Regent Street and Oxford Street then on to Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament! I had a great time doing this and I’m planning on doing more trips very soon so stay tuned for more MGB GT, Jaguar XK8 and Lotus Esprit content!

More Thoughts in a Jaguar XK8
Given the current state of the coronavirus pandemic I’m a bit worried about what that means in terms of getting out and driving our cars. It seems that meetups are probably a bad idea and events are starting to get cancelled but I’m very keen to still get out and about and hear from anybody with a decent driving route or road trip idea! Some thrashing in the Jaguar XK8 towards the end of the vid to get that V8 fix for the week haha!
