Another ‘in detail’ look at the MGB GT! This time a closer look at the body/exterior of the car and in particular some of the design inspiration and some things to look out for when reviewing a potential purchase. There are going to be lots of things I’ve missed or some model differences that I’ve not mentioned so please share those in the comments! Also, as a coincidence, Sir Stirling Moss OBE passed away after I filmed this so seemed fitting to pay tribute to a great sportsman and gentleman especially given his participation in the MG EX181 record breaking (land speed for given engine capacity) attempts with the record being beaten in 1957 by Sir Stirling himself!

Jaguar XK8 – Update: J-Gate Fix and ABS Warning Root Cause
An update on my Jaguar XK8 where I finally resolve my J-Gate issues! Also, my recent trip to Wales threw up another problem with the ABS which I’ve since found the root cause for. So now the Jag is ‘kind-of’ fixed its time to thrash it a bit!

Jaguar XK8 – GT-in-a-day: Wales – Part 2
Part 2 of my ‘GT’ in a day to Wales in my Jaguar XK8! Following on from the previous video I venture deeper into the Snowdonia National Park in search of some great driving roads and scenery whilst also keeping one eye on the health of the Jag as various warnings come and go! Some bonus footage also of Portmeirion which is the backdrop to one of my favourite TV shows ‘The Prisoner’ so look out for that and also some hooligan-type behaviour at Cobham Services (sorry to those using headphones @27:25 !). Jaguar XK8 – GT-in-a-day: Wales – Part 1
The Jaguar XK8 goes to Wales as I attempt to do a ‘GT’ in a day! In the first part (of two) I prepare the car to go and drive to the Horseshoe Pass. To add to the jeopardy ‘Storm Dennis’ is hitting the UK as I explore the hills and mountains! Will I make it back by the end of the day? Will the ABS warning go away? Jaguar XK8 – J-Gate Not Fixed and New Tyres!
Definitely not my best video! I fail to fix the J-Gate in my Jaguar XK8 then my camera cuts out half way through testing out some new tyres! Still, this was all necessary in order to prepare for next weeks exciting video of my trip so stay tuned for that!

MGB GT – Story so far, plans and channel update!
I’ve had my MGB GT for approaching 7 years now and I’m conscious I haven’t gone into much detail about my ownership of the MG in the time I’ve had it prior to when I started doing YouTube videos. Hopefully this give people an insight into some of the things that can go wrong and my experience with the car. Looking ahead I want to get the car running in good/excellent running order so I can do longer trips in it with confidence, it won’t quite be ‘Harry’s Garage’ level road trips yet but we have to start somewhere and a trip in May to Devon might be doable! I hope you enjoy the video, please let me know if there is anything else about the MG you would like to know or indeed any suggestions on where I should take it (except scrap yard :-))

Jaguar XK8 – In Detail : Model History
The first of a new series of videos describing the XK8 in detail, this time the Model History of the car is explained, hopefully this is of some use to people thinking of buying an XK8/R or just interesting to those who like them! Any corrections or stuff I’ve left out are welcome in the comments! As I mention in the video, a lot of the content comes from the Jaguar World one-off publication called ‘Jaguar XK8 A Modern Sporting Icon’ which has loads of useful things in it even if it is a bit old now. Jaguar XK8 – Why the XJS and XK are better!
My view on why the Jaguar XK8’s predecessor the Jaguar XJS and its successor the Jaguar XK (x150) are better! This is just my opinion, I love my XK8 but have to concede that there are things about these other cars that are superior or make more sense either practically, economically or dynamically! I hope you enjoy the video, a bit different to my usual ones, probably will be a one off considering I like to actually get out in my cars to film but a change is as good as a rest…. maybe?!
